Coach Kim, owner at Intown Tumbling, started Intown Tumbling in September of 2010. She saw a need for community gymnastics classes in town, as there were no options. So, with a few mats, and a rented room in a church, three classes on a Saturday morning were offered. Soon enough, more classes were added followed by camps, birthday parties, and Atlanta’s first kids’ yoga studio. She made the move to the Telephone Factory Lofts January 2014 and has continued to grow Intown Tumbling’s offerings ever since. Her love of gymnastics started at a young age. She was a competitive gymnast here in Atlanta until age 18. She started teaching/coaching gymnastics when she went off to college and has over 20 years of teaching gymnastics under her belt. Coach Kim always found herself coming back to her passion and love of gymnastics and teaching no matter what she was doing in life. You’ll find her classes fun, engaging, sometimes silly, as she loves to see her students not only progressing, but having fun. She’s also a certified Kids’ Yoga Teacher.
When not doing all things Intown Tumbling, you can find her adventuring with her two children.
